The 3rd UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence took place 24-27 June 2025 at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Bangkok, under the theme 'Ethical Governance of AI in Motion'. It was co-hosted by Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES) with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and the Ministry of Education (MOE), together with UNESCO. The Forum drew over 2,770 participants from 90 countries, including 30+ ministers and 13 intergovernmental bodies, across 22 thematic sessions and 11 side events covering gender, environment, health, disaster risk reduction, disabilities, education, culture, neurotechnology, quantum computing and judicial systems. It was the first time the landmark event was held in Asia.
