A session on UNESCO's Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) for AI at the Global AI Summit (GAIN) 2024, held 10-12 September 2024 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. The RAM is UNESCO's diagnostic tool for assessing where countries stand on AI infrastructure, governance, investment, social policy and public institutions; as of October 2025 more than 70 countries across five continents had initiated or completed a RAM assessment.
